About Glogglz
Sports eyewear, born on the water — built by people who actually use it.
Glogglz started in 2011 on the waters of Florida, USA, out of a simple frustration: watersport athletes kept losing sunglasses in the surf, fighting fogged-up lenses, and watching cheap nose pads fall apart after a few saltwater sessions. They wanted eyewear that could handle real conditions — not fashion accessories sold with adventure photos.
So that’s what Glogglz became: purpose-built sports sunglasses with an adjustable strap and butterfly clasp, saltwater-resistant nose rubbers, polarized UV400 lenses and impact-resistant polycarbonate frames.
From Florida to Europe
In 2024, Hugo Verburg took over Glogglz and moved the brand’s European operations to the Netherlands. The mission is clear: make Glogglz the go-to eyewear for serious watersport athletes across Europe and beyond — shipped fast from Mijdrecht.
Three collections, one philosophy
Your eyes deserve proper protection, and your glasses should stay on no matter what.
- Finz — maximum grip for wave and jump riders. A secure strap system that holds through crashes and high-speed sessions.
- Rayz — ultra-lightweight wrap-around for speed sports. At ~28 grams, built for cyclists, runners and multi-sport athletes.
- Cudaz — patented 2-in-1 swim goggles and sunglasses. Watertight seal underwater, polarized lenses above the surface.
Why saltwater testing matters
Most sports sunglasses are tested in labs. Glogglz models are tested in the ocean. Cheap rubber pads and straps degrade fast in saltwater — they get sticky, crumble, or lose grip. Glogglz uses saltwater-resistant materials that hold up session after session.
